Recycling: Recycling for tomorrow will be during 5th Period. Tanner, Paxton, Jo & Parker will be around to collect your recycling.
NECC Applications Any Juniors or Seniors who want to take Northeast Community College classes next semester and are NOT taking them this semester must attend a meeting in the high school conference room next Wednesday, September 30th @ 10:00 AM! Additionally, seniors who have not finished a Freshman application to NECC for the 2027-2028 school year but are thinking of attending Northeast Community College after high school must also attend this meeting!
Tony Hoffman Presentation: Friday morning @ 8:15, you'll get the chance for a special speaking event by Tony Hoffman, a motivational speaker, through real-life experiences connects with you through resilience, leadership, & character, all while building confidence, connection & hope. You'll check into your first period classes and head to the gym with your 1st period teachers.
Dakota State University Rep: The Dakota State University Rep will be here Friday.
Volleyball Night @ LCC: Our gym was the place to be last night! Congratulations to all levels last night for a hard fought evening. The reserve team played all three sets, the JV team left us on our seats to capture the victory, and the Varsity girls closed the night in a sweep against the Lady Eagles. Our Lady Bears are now the ONLY undefeated team in our Conference. Great job also to the crowd and student section for keeping the momentum going. A special Congrats to Carlie and Rena on their achievements last night also.
Congratulations to Nora: Nora Specht has been chosen as our Student of the Month. Nora was nominated for going above and beyond! As shared in her nomination, "Being involved in activities doesn't stop Nora from achieving academic excellence on top of excellence in her activities. Nora's determination extends far beyond her academia into her sports and extracurriculars, representing what it means to be an LCC Bear! Congratulations, Nora! Keep up the great work!

Wednesday: Homeroom:Come learn more about the speech team on Wednesday in Mrs. Krepel's room during homeroom. This is an informational meeting so you can get the lowdown on what speech is and all of the different events. Come check it out! By coming to the meeting, you aren't necessarily committing to the team, just learning about it! Talk to Mrs. Krepel if you have any questions.
