Speech Congratulations to Faith who won Conference Champ in Extemp yesterday in the GNAC Speech meet. Kennedy earned Runner Up in Persuasive, and Cloey took 6th in Poetry. Well done, ladies!
Math Club: Math Club will be hiding 5 pi symbols around the school from March 9th to March 13th. If you find one, turn it into Faith, Alyza, or Mr. Kinkaid for an oatmeal creme pie. One per student. Memorize and say digits of pi from March 9 - March 13th to Mr. Kinkaid during 1st, 5th or 9th period. The top 2 with the most digits memorized get a whole pie. On Friday, March 13th, a teacher from the high school and elementary will be "pied" in the face. The teacher will be decided from a money bucket war: whichever teacher's bucket has the most money in it will be pied. There will be buckets in the high school commons labeled with Mrs. Vollers, Mrs. Van Meter, or Mr. Holcomb. Any type of change is acceptable.
Art Club: Art Club will be meeting today during lunch in Mrs. Scovilles' room.
Juniors: There will be a Junior Class meeting today in Mrs. Kestings' room during homeroom.
Lenten Breakfast: All students are invited to a Lenten Breakfast on Wednesday, March 11th from 7:00 - 7:45AM at the Presbyterian Church.
ROAR Advisors: ROAR Advisors will be meeting on Wednesday, March 11th during lunch in Mrs. Vollers' room.
Juniors: There will be a Prom Decorating Committee meeting on Wednesday, March 4th during homeroom in Mrs. Kestings' room.
NHS: NHS will be meeting on Thursday, March 12th in Ms. McCorkindales' room during lunch.

Northeast Early College Registration for the Fall and Summer NECC's Fall and Summer registration opens March 30th. If you are looking to get into a Comp class or a Math class, let Mrs. Beckwith know ahead of time so she can verify your scores have been submitted. A prerequisite of an 18 on the ACT in Math or Reading/English is required to take those courses. Those classes fill up fast, so early registration is imperative!
